Need room for one night

Going to Disney in October and it can't come fast enough!!!

We will be using our timeshare for the week but because we have added an extra day need a place to stay for the night. Someplace near downtown if possible that is clean and does not smell musty...etc...you know what I mean!
We will be going to one of the parks on this transitional day so it basically is just somplace to go back to for the one night.

I am looking for something under $50 if possible. Any siggestions?

I use to recommend priceline for one night stays - but someone says that priceline had extra charges and it wasn't worth it any longer?

I just stayed at hampton inn lake buena vista. it is very close to downtown disney. you don't even have to get on i-4 to get to disney. there is a back road. we loved the place so much that we are planning on staying there next year instead of staying onsite. they also have free breakfast. If you are familiar with downtown disney, you pass disney quest, pleasure island and then the marketplace. you keep going on this road until the end and it brings you out to another street (sheraton safari is also on it). hampton inn is in this area. there is also a new walmart a few miles down the street. plenty of places to eat also. This hampton inn was very, very clean. Highly recommend it.

Ive used priceline and have gotten some great deals (i.e Doubletree Suites San Francisco Airport $37 p.n). I highly recommend them. But if you are more into knowing exactly the hotel your staying at, I suggest...


Courtyard By Marriott Orlando (On Vineland)
Fairfield Inn By Marriott Orlando (On Vineland)
Springhill Suites By Marriott Orlando (On Vineland)
Nickelodiean (Sp?) Hotel Orlando (On 536 at Maingate)

All of the hotels are fairly reasonable and are clean, great properties that I highly reccomend...
