Need restaurant suggestions....

Hiya ~~

I just booked our Christmas Vacation for WDW Yacht Club --- we got an awesome deal on Room ONLY so we are on our own for dinner reservations.
We cannot add dining plan to the room only reservation ..

I'd like to ask your opinions about the restaurants available to us ... I know it's advised to advance book that's why I ask.

Which restaurants to do recommend going too? I have a 6yo so a kids menu is a plus - has to include some type of chicken nuggets, hehe

I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Since you're staying at the YC I definitely recommend trying Beaches & Cream over on the Beach Club side. The menu is burgers, sandwiches etc. and excellent ice cream desserts!

yachtsman's steakhouse at the YC is excellent
flying fish and big river grille on the boardwalk are great. BRG does not take ADRs. the afore mentioned beaches and cream is wonderful. of course there is world showcase and studios restaurants to choose from. you are basically half way between the 2 parks. those are the ones in your area that would be a great choice.

Thanks!!! We will have a car so getting to go out to dinner will not be a problem. I would like to do a few disney restaurants as we've always stayed at the Values and get 'to go' stuff or pizza's...

I'm sure we can go downtown as well to the restaurants, but I can get Planet Hollywood, Applebees, TGIF and others here at home.
