Need Reservation Help............

We're going to WDW the last week of December (CBR-Martinique hopefully). 4th time for us, first time for 6 yr old son.

We want to make some reservations for certain restaurants, as well as the Character Bkst at Magic KIngdom. Any tips/suggestions? I called WDW a few times and they specifically told me to wait until 90 days prior to checkin (which would be around Sept 28). Is it a painful process to reserve early?

Any feedback would be GREAT!

I think youi'll find it's 90 days from PS date.

Here is what I did and don't be scared
it was lots of fun, an armchair sport...

I made an agenda for our 8 day December Disney Holiday.

I looked at all the menus at
http://wdwig.com/dining.htm
and selected where we wanted to eat and when.

I made a visit to the PS planning report at
http://pscalculator.net/psreport.html,
plugged in my dates and printed out my report
of the earliest days possible to call for my PS's (90 days).

I was on the phone just about every night for a week to disney.
I waited until after 8pm to use the free minutes on my cell phone.

It sounds like a lot but I got every single PS I wanted
(9 to be exact, including Princess Storybook Breakfast)
and I didn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to do so,
nor did I have any very long hold times while on with CRO.

A little planning now will make a big difference later.
