We'll be down mid June (six of us). We were down during the beginning of January (four of us) and had no problem getting seated for dinner without a reservation. We waited about 20 minutes and got in. Does anyone know if the wait times are still pretty low? We're not sure when we will go there so it's tough to make a reservation.

reports of longer wait times as crowds have picked up.

I have been to Rain Forest Cafe in June for dinner and the waits were normally over an hour for the typical dinner hours. T-Rex is serving pretty much the same style diners so that should split the demand somewhat.

I would recommend making a priority seating (T-Rex' term) now. I would guess you could easily make a change as you approach your arrival time - maybe even the day of. Most people don't think to call since Disney Dining just states that they do't take ADRs for T-Rex.

The number is 407-828-8739.

I would make one if you know for sure when you are going to be at DTD. We went during a rather slow time and they didn't have the first set of Res times I wanted.

Better safe than sorry! I called T-Rex and got reservations for our trip in June without any trouble.

The problem is that we just don't know where we'll be any particular day. Our son's DGF has never been to WDW so I know we'll be very busy showing off Mickey Mouse Land! We have only one reservation for dinner..SciFi and most meals will be CS. Just wondering if anyone has called for a reservation as late as when they arrived at WDW? Thank you all for your responses.

Mid June sounds like "just after school lets out" to me. WDW will be pretty busy then. Going from a Table of 4 to a table of six doesn't sound like much but it will be a lot harder getting quick spur of the moment dining in. At least at DTD you can shop till your table is ready.

It may or may not work too well without reservations.

Yup, some people (including us!) have called restaurants the day they want to eat there and gotten in.
