I am looking into renting a home through All Star Vacation Homes for an extended family trip.

Is it worth renting like this rather than hotel rooms?

Any good or bad experiences that someone can share? I am new to this and would appreciate any help or info.

I grew up in a large family so it was more economical to rent a house or condo. Now we're bringing our nephew to Disney in a couple weeks and have decided to do the same thing. We don't mind the drive onto Disney property so it makes sense to save money and have more space. I guess I'm a chip off the old block!

We went with seven people back in Feb 2003 and decided to rent a house rather than getting two hotel rooms. It was such a great idea. We rented from the owner directly, so we got a good deal - it was a 4 bedroom 3 bath pool home in Oak Island Cove for around $700 for 8 days. We loved having the space to relax, we sometimes cooked dinner and sometimes got takeout, and overall it was just absolutely fantastic. I totally recommend it.

Try doing a search on this forum or read through past threads - you'll find lots of useful information!

Thanks Big V. Did you actually stay there? Can you give me your thoughts on the place?

We have never rented a home ni Fl so I am new to this.

Regarding the regal plams..what are you paying?
We're paying $695 for a full week. I think it's a great price but I wouldn't be surprised if they go up soon.

That is a great price. How far is it from Disney?
