Here is the deal... I am travelling with my 3 DSs 9, 7 and 4. We will be at the BCV from February 11th - 17th. I am treating my DMIL and DSIL + family to the DVC stay while my DH is deployed to the middle east. This is our "over-the-hump" trip. Anyway....

The in-laws will be leaving on the 17th, but I don't necessarily have to leave on that day. I am thinking about staying an extra three nights, leaving the Tuesday after President's day. Now, I just need a place to stay.

I was thinking about just staying at WL, but I don't think that we will do Disney those last few days. I think we will do Sea World and Wonderworks. So, can anyone recommend a nice, fun place to stay for me and my 3 DSs? I have never stayed off-site. I don't mind spending some money, but I wouldn't mind saving a little over Disney prices, KWIM? :thumbsup2

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA!!!

The Nick Hotel would be a fun place for you, although I'm not sure what the rates are for that time period. If you were interested in Universal, those hotels have great reviews and get you front of the line access on the rides at the parks. Have fun!

Yeah, I have thought about the Universal Resorts as well. I just don't know if I could do a lot at Universal with three little boys. The big coasters would be out. The Nick hotel is about $180/night with a military discount.

Thanks for the ideas. Keep them coming.

BTW, would the Nick Hotel be worth it in February if it might be too cold to swim?

How about Marriott's Horizons. There is a neat pirate pool the kids would love...it's right near Sea World and there is a pool bar/restaurant so you don't have to cook if you don't want to.

Another recommendation right near SeaWorld is Marriott's Grande Vista. They have beautiful pools, great villas and are in a super location on I-Drive...but not in the midst of all the traffic.

You can see both these resorts at www.vacationclub.com.

Good luck to you.
