Need recommendation for quality shoes (other than Stride Rite)

It's shoe time again! I've pretty much purchased only from Stride Rite in the past and am looking for recommendations for other quality shoes for DD4 and DD2. I'm looking for cute casual shoes (other than tennies) that are functional for preschool.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I'll be checking them out! It seems like every time we go to Stride Rite we end up with another pair of pink, brown or pink & brown mary janes.
