We will be flying into LAX and taking a car service to the GC. Can anyone recommend a car service that will make a quick stop at a convenience store to pick up water and a few snacks? If not, is there a store within walking distance of the GC? Thank you.

We use DK Livery (may be called Lansky now) and part of their service is a stop at a grocery store. It's included in the price.

While I live here in the OC, we travel allot in and out of LAX for DH's job and we use EXECUcar by Super Shuttle!

They are fabulous. Clean, prompt and will make stops!

The only problem is they only take 4 people or less!

We used Anaheim Town Car service for this at the beginning of September and they were fantastic! Both drivers we had were very professional (my husband uses services like this a lot and he commented that this was the best he had received) and the cars were clean. We also needed a car seat and the car seat we had was in great condition.

Used DK Livery (may be called Lansky) twice this year and had great service -- 30min grocery stop is wonderful!

Will be booking them again for our dec 2014 and may 2015 trips!

I have them booked for our december trip & also got the $5 discount as we used them at easter this year too :yay:

I have Lansky's booked for our upcoming trip. Even though with the 2 of us it is about $60 more, there were some things that went into making my decision and it pointed to using them: #1 I have always read positive reviews. I've used Karmel in the past and they aren't getting the best reviews of late. For us, their van was dirty, the seat was broken, and we couldn't understand our driver. Our return was better, but, late. #2 They make a grocery stop. #3 If necessary, they provide car seats at no additional charge (not necessary for us but that is a selling point). #4 If you have 4 passengers it is cheaper to go with Lansky's. #5 My biggest selling point and why I personally chose Lansky's is reliability. I chose reliability over a shared shuttle because I didn't want to miss our flight and be stuck in LA. We have the last departing flight of the day to our city. Peace of mind means a lot to me. On our last trip we were waiting and waiting to be picked up by a shared van (well over 30 minutes after our scheduled pick up time) and ended up calling 2 times to dispatch. When the driver picked us up he said, "Oh I was just down the street eating my lunch."
