Want to have a very special meal with my hubby when we go to WDW. Hubby is a bit picky as to what he eats, does not like pasta or anything spicy.

Any ideas folks?

We'd suggest, in no particular order:
Flying Fish (Boardwalk)- Seafood
California Grill (Top of the Contemporary)- Try the pork loin or beef tenderloin. Also serves sushi.
Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge)- Loved the venison spring rolls and cedar plank salmon.

Try www.wdwig.com for menus from all the restaurants.
Enjoy!

Victoria and Albert's. Elegant, expensive, but an unforgettable romantic dining experience. :thumbsup2

Here's my totally biased opinion based solely on romance, and not on price or actual yumminess:

Mexico in Epcot
california grill
bistro de paris
victoria and alberts

that's all I can think of for now! I love the ambiance of Mexico, but the food is only so-so. California Grill, YUM YUM and my husband and I are very picky. Eat and then watch the fireworks at the top of Contemporary! We did this on our tenth anniversary.

Good luck!

Artist Point and Narcoosees are very nice - and if you get a table by the window both are romantic.

My DH and I enjoyed Shulas on our "adult" only trip a couple of weeks ago. We are picky eaters and found the food to be very good!

"Romantic" is a relative term I suppose, but if you mean somewhat quiet and "adult friendly", I'd recommend V&A, Citricos, Bistro D Paris, Blue Zoo.

Victoria & Albert's is in a class all it's own. It is more of a dining event than just a romantic meal.

Bistro de Paris and Artist Point would both be excellent choices.

Usually I recommend Palio for a romantic meal, but they are closing in August for refurbishment, and it is unclear when they will reopen or what changes will be made.

Another vote for Artist Point...when it's just DH and I we always eat there... the setting is very nice and the food is excellent.
