need reception decoration help

we are a party of 18 with a roman table and our room is the whitehall room

I have no idea what i want for the tables

Please help with pictures?

I don't know that mine qualified as magazine status but I was very happy with the resuts - we also had 18 guests in the Whitehall with the Roman table - here are a few pics:

String Trio - we had them set up to the left of the entrance as you walked in the room

One big change we made was the cake table - normally in the Whitehall they set up the marble table under the mural - we thought the pictures of the cake cutting always looked odd becuase the bride & groom were in front of the table instead of behind it - we asked for a small table to be set up instead & it worked MUCH better

On a personal note - we really LOVED the Whitehall Room & Patio - It was the perfect size that no one ever felt crowded & yet it was still a very intimate space

mystiichell - Thanks for sharing your photos, it looked lovely. We are having the roman table in the white hall room with the same colours, but I think our purple is deeper. We are having candelabars but without flowers, a fifth candle instead to reduce the cost. I have also asked for the petals to be placed as a kind of runner.

They are moving my unity arrangement to the center of the table

Unity arrangement of mixed lavender, ivory and purple coordinating floral and greenery. $250

Misty -- We are really struggling with what to do about the cake (the birds kind of weird me out. LOL!) and our planner suggested your set up with a cake table behind our sweetheart table. Yours looks really beautiful but I am wondering:
1) How many guests did you have?
2) Did you feel that the dance floor was too small?
