Need reasonable offsite w/ transport for 9/24

I know this has probably been asked before, but I cannot find a thread. We are staying 9/25 and 9/26 at the RPR. We are going for WWOHP specifically. I just called and tried to add 9/24, but was told no rooms are available for us - jsut a double queen standard. Then I came to my senses and realized we cannot afford another night there anyway, so we should be staying offsite.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced place to stay offsite that provides transportation?

Also, can anyone guess why it would be so booked 9/24 - could it have to do with HHN opening - and what do you think the crowds will be like at WWOHP that weekend?
