We are are literally about to book online, were seconds away from sending credit card info, then i see people talking about calling the number. Is there a reason to call instead of booking my MYW with dining at PoP for november?

Sorry, I'm not fully up on the acronyms in use on this board so I don't know what MYW is. However, if you are talking about booking a room at one of the WDW resorts, I've found that it is much easier to have codes applied when I call. In fact, I'm not even sure if most of the codes can be applied when booking online.

That said, I have booked online to make sure I get the room I want and then later call to have a new code applied for a discount. That doesn't always work but at least that way I know my wide and I will be in a room we like. Also, talking to someone live about a reservation can sometimes let you know about any codes/discounts that you may not have heard about when booking online.

I do hope this helps. If not, at least it will bump your question up to the top.

I'm not an expert, but if you are booking thru the DW website (which I feel royally stinks) I would call. Then you can get all of your questions asked and put in any special requests, such as bunk beds. I guess I felt more "secure" calling, plus they can help if you need some :flower:

I hope we dont run into problems later on down the road, but we only have one request, and that is a King bed if possible, so I dont guess it will hurt to have booked on line.

I've read on other posts on this board that the online and phone reservations are not handled by the same organizations. One of the results of this is that the cancellation policy for bookings made over the phone is better for the customer.

This is one of the reasons I've always made my Disney ressies over the phone. When I've finally gotten the CM's on the phone they have always been very helpful. If you want to, they make it easy to purchase park tickets, make priority seating reservations for meals, and other add-ons. I recommend using the phone.

The cancellation policy isn't as good if you book online. I can't remember the difference in the days, but it was significant.

Does anyone know the cancellation policy if you book online with a room only? If you call, it should be only 5 days out.

Also, I couldn't book a AAA rate online. I had to call.

I know I am late with this, but one of the biggest things you cannot do to an online booking is add a discount code at a later date. If discount codes come out for your dates, you would have to call CRO, make a new reservation and then cancel the online one. They cannot apply the discount to an online ressie.

I always call.

Been there, done that, lesson learned. I think is very much to your benefit to book with CRO.

If you book a room only the cancellation policy is the same whether you do it online or over the phone.

When you book online there's no way to use the codes. For a while you could, but now when you see the FL resident discount the information tells you to call.
