Need PS for these restaurants?

I am visiting the first weekend in June plus the following Monday and Tuesday. Do I need PS for Carnation Cafe, Cafe Orleans, Wine Country Trattoria and Storytellers? Currently I plan on making PS only for Blue Bayou and Goofy's Kitchen. Do the DD restaurants generally require reservations too or can I make them the day of?

Many people will say no, but I always make a PS if I know where and when we want to eat. Plus, better safe than sorry. I will tell you this, on almost any night of the week, without a PS you will have somewhat of a wait for dinner. Go for it, if you change your mind, you can always cancel.

I also don't like waiting in line for a meal - especially with kids in tow. Can I make the PS closer to the date or day of?

I make mine 60 days out especially for Blue Bayou and character meals.

Priority Seating reservation can be made 60 days in advance for dining located within Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure parks and Disney Resort Hotels by contacting 714-781-DINE (3463)

I always call and make a reservation. It's calming just knowing that I will be seated immediately and not have to waste time waiting around when your're hungry.

The two you're currently thinking of, definitely. Many make a PS for Carnation, and I know that you can make them for the Trattoria, b/c I was asked if I had one when I dropped in for dinner.

You can and you should. But keep in mind you may still have to wait a few minutes after you check in. Generally you are seated very close to your PS time but occasionally you are made to wait.

I have also had "some" success with taking the Disney dining number with me and calling an hour or two prior to when I think I might want to eat and seeing what they have available . . . . doesn't always work--but often does. (Of course, this was not during extremely busy times.)
