We are going down September 18th-25th, and my parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in the middle of the week (the 21st). They are kindly bringing me along, their 23 year old daughter (yeah!). Originally I was going to order a small cake to be delivered to their table on their special night at Narcoosees (I'm sure I misspelled that). However, I am now second-guessing that idea, as we probably have MORE than enough desserts already on the DDP, and we really do not need the leftover cake.

So, this is where you, the lovely dis-ers come in! Any other suggestions for an 25th anniversary present, from me (their lovely daughter) while we are in Disney? I typically go overboard on gift-giving, and I know they will be angry if I do so, so keeping it under $100 would be great!
THANKS in advance!

ps- I'm also planning on taking a nice picture of the two of them while we're down there and putting it in a nice frame, so I'm just kind of looking for "Disney" ideas

We took 2 of our kids with us when we celebrated our 25th, but it was because they were 7 and 12 at the time and we couldn't find a sitter!

I bought a christmas tree ornament that I love to remember the day, so maybe they would enjoy something like that?

What about paying for the $99 photopass, so they can capture as many memories as they can?
Maybe show them some pics here on the boards, how people poss and such, bring some "fun" to the pics they make?
Just an idea.

Or maybe a couples massage at GF?

So nice of you to want to make this special for them.

How about paying for one of the resort photo sessions? Hopefully they would end up with a lot of nice pictures of the 2 of them.

Depending on thier interestes you could give them a tour, prices vary so it may go out of your range, but they have a lot to choose from so one may work well for something that isn't typical in a WDW trip.

thanks for all your suggestions thus far!

The tour idea is out, simply b/c earlier in planning, my mother and I were thinking about doing one, and well, dad was not into it at all

I kinda like the photopass idea, I'll look into that more

Can your order a nice bottle of wine to be delivered to the table? That might be nice, and I'd be more than happy to help w/ the leftovers there

Wine lists vary a lot. Though at wine producing countires in Europe they are more extensive as are the finer resort restaurants. Honestly I think you would get more value in the photo packages.

Hi Hon
Just sharing a wonderful experience we had a few weeks ago.
We booked the "Wishes Dessert Party" in Magic Kingdom.
I felt the cost was reasonable. $21.99 per person
I'll try to post a link that tells you alittle more about it.

If you do decide to do this I'd mention to the CM booking it that it's your parents 25th anniversary and also when you check in for the party it's self.

I kinda lurk here but post a fair amount on the DISign thread,,

here is a blank invite I made for you should you decide to do this.

One more fun easy quick idea

print --cut --fold--insert a shinny quarter --using double sided tape
"Magic quarter to make a wish at Cinderella's Wishing Well"
25 wishes each or just one special magical one.
Wishing card

I really like that second idea! About money in the wishing well. I don't believe we have ever found/seen the wishing well, but it would give them a great reason to seek it out :)

Thanks for both of those beautiful print-outs, I really appreciate it

I can't recall what they are called (you can find out about them elsewhere in the DIS boards), but a really fun event is to get a space on one of the boat rides into Epcot to watch the fireworks. A great view of the fireworks and a "special gift" to remember.
