Need Prayers

Hello all. My husband was recently laid off from his job. He has been interviewing and sending out resumes to try to find a new job. Out of necessity, I took a job that I absolutely don't want to do forever (think call center), so I too have been sending out resumes. Don't get me wrong- thank God that I have a job during this trying time, and thank God that the hours are 11am-8pm so I can interview in the morning time. My husband has interviewed for a job that he really wants, and I have applied and networked for a job that I really want. We need prayers of hope that we both can be put into a job where we're happy.

Hope all goes well with his job hunting and he gets that job he wants....just deep breathe and I am sure it will fall into place..

I remember back when I had my first baby, she was 3 weeks old, it was Christmastime and my husband got laid off. He did collect unemployment but he was out pounding the pavement looking for a job with a new baby, a wife who was not doing so hot, complications from the delivery, and it was Christmas. We were young and we were scared. Someone referred him to a job and he sat with the person in charge who saw something in my husband. He did not offer the job right away, but in a few days he offered it. Now my husband worked loyally for that company for 36 years and they were good to him as well. He recently retired due to illness which I have posted about here, but he has his pension and they pay his disability as he can never go back and do the job he did all those years for this very big company..

So what I am saying here is there is hope and I am sure he will find something else. Prayers said.

Thank you so much. We too are young (23), and have been told that this will pass. I'm crossing every finger I have and am praying every 5 minutes. Something good will happen this week. We hope.

Thank you! The job that I really want is reviewing resumes right now and will decide on who they're going to interview in a few days. I'm doing some hardcore praying right now that I get in the bunch, get the interview, and get the job!!!
