Need Points....

I'm totally new to this, all I know is that I need 4 more points to complete my dream vacation! After calling MS, I was told that members cannot transfer points that they have banked from the previous year or borrowed from the next year --
is this true, because I see a lot of threads here of members looking to transfer points that are not from this use year..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is definitely true. I just tried to transfer points to another dvc member for the first time and found out that I couldn't because they are borrowed from next use year. I overcame this by making the reservation for the member myself and just renting as I would have for a non-member and it worked out fine. I have 3 borrowed points than were not used, but I can't transfer them. They expire Jan 31, 2004. Oh well!
