We plan on doing Magic Kingdom over the course of a day plus an evening. The evening will be first--probably arriving around 5-6pm. At that time of day, which part of MK do you think would be best to hit? My kids are 9 and 6. Is there a part of the park that is the least crowded in the evening? A part we should definitely save for our full day later in the week? Any particular attractions that are good to hit in the evening? Thanks for any ideas! This is our first family trip to WDW--we leave in 9 days! :woohoo:

Well, what I would concentrate on is doing Spectromagic and Wishes. When you get to the end of the stores on Main Street, just a bit further to the left is a board that shows the approximate wait times for rides. Why not do a couple with 20 minutes or less wait time if possible.

If you want to get a good seat on the curb for the parade, keep checking the curb along Main Street starting about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before the parade. You can alternate "saving" your spot while the other 2 walk around a bit if you want and/or get yourself something to eat at Casey's while you sit there also. But it seems when a few start sitting down, all of a sudden the curb fills up. The Main Street Bakery and the Ice Cream shop also have yummy things to munch on while you wait for the parade. For Wishes you can just stand anywhere on Main Street and see if fine.
