Need pixie dust---pixie dust worked! THANKS!

In 12 years as DVC members we have never had to cancel a ressie, we are set to check in 2 weeks from today & I have been sick for a week . Thought gallbladder but that was ruled out yesterday so looking at gastro dr Monday. I HATE this. I am never sick and have been extremely nauseated so I did check about cancelling trip...borrowed points...first time ever on that too and Dec. UY so might not get a ressie in the next month with girls in school. Probably can transfer to someone as it is TN fall break. Hope it doesn't come to this as we LOVE MNSSHP but I can't imagine even going easy around WDW the way I feel right now & KNOW I wouldn't be eating which is really Sad! Pixie dust appreciated.

Had upper GI & Colonscopy this morning. All good . Looks like it was a bacterial infection ...c diff...all along. Feeling much better so we leave Saturday for OKW. Now I can research buildings to request since we're not near HH &, while medical bills will cause more meals in room, WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD! THANKS FOR THE MAGIC!!

Good luck and feel better. We cancelled once short time out about 3 days. Hubby ended up with gallbladder and appendix removed. We were packed and it was our 1st adult only...


It stinks, but feel better.

We have had to cancel trips for health issues so I know how disappointing it is. Hope you are on the mend SOON!

This happened to me. I have triplets who were conceived through IVF. Was told a natural pregnancy was never a possibility for us. Fast forward 8 years later to November 2011. I thought there was something terribly wrong. Nausea, couldn't eat, felt terrible all the time. Long story short I was pregnant! We went to WDW a month after we found out and I had been thinking of canceling that trip, so I know that feeling of total disappointment and desperation over just wanting to know what was wrong. I hope the doctor figures it out ASAP and you can go on a more relaxed pace WDW trip to allow you to recover.

Sorry to hear! We were at F&W this past week, and before going I had a touch of food poisoning or something....just wasn't right. It was HOT during the day, and every time we stopped at a Marketplace and I ate something, I just felt horrible. So not really worth it, believe me! Took me all of 3 days to work my way through it.

Wishing you the best, but truly, if you don't feel well, WDW is not the place to be sick. Everyone is much too cheerful.
