My hubby has been waiting for this job interview for more than four weeks.

Please send some prayers this way!!

WOULD YOU BELIEVE MY HUBBY SHOWS UP FOR HIS INTERVIEW (ONTIME) THE INTERVIEWER IS SUPPOSEDLY OUT TO LUNCH. ONE HOUR LATER MY HUBBY IS STILL WAITING!!!

HIS SECRETARY SAYS HE WILL BE RESCHEDULED MAYBE. THIS PERSON NEVER EVEN CAME TO SAY HE COULD OR COULD NOT TAKE CARE OF HIM. why did they make him go out of your way not even to give him a chance. I'm in tears my hopes are .....

I feel for you really I do. DH was on an interview yesterday, had pinned our hopes on this one BIG TIME, and his resume states very clearly his experience. After enduring 2 hours of agonizing interviewing, they decide he is lacking in an area that was clearly not listed as having exp. on his resume. Why waste his time, their time, my kids don't know our situation yet, but DD saw the stress hit an all time high yesterday and has begun to figure things out....had to tell them today our Christmas trip will most likely be postponed due to "changes" at DH work...they have so much on their plates w/massive schoolwork that I have tried to shield them from this mess. I am hoping ANYTHING comes along, quickly. Hang in there, the anxiety is brutal I know, but our DH need us to be strong and supportive and upbeat. They are dealing with an "Employers'market" and it's tough competition. However, that was EXTREMELY unprofessional to leave your DH hanging and to not show him any respect. I will keep you on my *PD* list....one big hug for all us in need of work!!!!! (and insurance)

That is extremely unprofessional and I feel back bad for your DH. My DH is out of work and has seen 3 jobs fall through this week. On one, a recruiter called and basically told him he would be called for an interview-no call. Another company that he dealt with on his old job called to discuss work from home, long distance job- guy said he would call back, but no call. And today he applied for a job at a company where he knows an employee and was told that he is very well qualified but they have 2 people coming back for 2nd interviews. The job posting was dated 11/8. He is feeling like he has been punched in the stomach and is finding it hard to continue searching. He knows how your DH feels. I hope things go better from now on for him. To FINFAN, I hope things go better for you and your family too. It is an employer's market and it is still tough out there, no matter what the politician's say.

I cannot begin to tell you how frustrating it is on the job market. They out and out lie and then look at you like you are the one that is stupid. I am truly so sorry for you all.

I've been in this same boat for the past 4 years. It is not the same employment situation as it was in the past. Temping is one of the better ways to go, it doesn't always pay the best but it does lead to possible full time.

Oh my gosh, how rude of this person to not be there!!! I would be livid if that happened to me!
