Our family is going to Disneyland next week. My sister has cancer and just this week had her last radiation visit (she had something like 12 weekly sessions), and finished her chemo right before starting radiation. She has numbness in certain extremities, like fingers, toes, etc. She also tires easily.

We're planning on renting her an ECV, but what else do we need to know? Should we get her an assistance pass? Will she need a note from her oncologist? What is the purpose of an assistance pass anyway?

Thanks!

You can stop at guest services and tell them what she needs a pass for.

No doctors note is needed. Just tell them what her needs are--to be able to stay out of the sun as much as possible, and not have to stand (not wait) in lines due to weakness from her treatments.

Have a great trip!

Anne
