Need Park Ticket During Segway Tour??

Only 5 1/2 days before we leave...and I feel not ready! But, on the other hand ARE WE THERE YET??

One of the questions that's come to mind in these last preparations is whether you need your park ticket after entering Epcot for the Segway Tour? My husband is taking the Around the World on a Segway tour one morning, but my son and I are not. I was hoping that if he doesn't need his ticket once we're inside the park I could keep it with me and get him Fastpasses (to match what my son and I pick up) while he's on his Segway.

Anyone know if that will be a problem?

a park ticket needs to be "activated" by passing through the turnstyles in order to be used to get fastpasses in that park.
