We are going to Disneyland at the end of December. Is there anyone either there now or traveling before December that can mail me at least two maps.

We are taking my god daughter with us and it will be her first time there. she is 6 years old. Any one have any suggestions on an Xmas gift to let her know she is going to Disneyland. Or should I keep it a secret until we arrive?

TIA

I'll be there on Weds morning. I'll gladly get you two maps. Would you like two DL maps or a DCA and a DL map?

We are surprising our 5 year old Christmas morning. I got him a buzz light year backpack, a Disneyland t shirt, a stuffed Mickey and I bought a cars ear hat online. After he opens his santa gift we will give that to him and ask him to guess his surprise.

The current maps likely promote Halloween Time, so you might want maps from November -- which will promote the holidays.

We cant give our kiddos (5 year and 2 year old) any advance notice otherwise from that moment forward everyday it's....are we going yet, are we going yet??
We literally don't tell them until we are almost there. Lol!!! On our last trip I gave them a fun little package in the hotel of themed stuff. The packages consisted of new Disney pjs, new toys to place with in the room, snacks, light toys...etc.

Sorry, just left due to the fires, otherwise would have grabbed some. But as mentioned, you may want to wait til November when the holiday themed come out.

Well DD9 already knows. There is no way i could keep this from her because that would mean not speaking a word about the trip in the house and if you knew how much I annoy DH about the trip planning you would know that is out of the question. I tried keeping it a secret from her the first time, but she could read the clues everywhere.

we are also taking our goddaughter who is 6 and we leave on the 27 so i was thinking of either not saying anything until we enter the parks( we take her on trips so it won't be anything new to her). or giving her a gift on Christmas day that will tell her she is going to Disneyland. She is definitely the type to ask every second if its time to leave already, but she doesn't live with me so i wont have to hear it for those two days:rotfl2:.

I like the PJs idea. I did buy her and DD a new autograph book that i could include.

Should I wait until we arrive( tell her we need to go pick up her gift in LA)?
Gift her a Disneyland gift on Christmas.?

We are surprising DD16 and DD14 about 2 weeks before we leave (we arrive on Christmas eve). We are making Disney t-shirts that explains our Disneyland Christmas Extravaganza on it. They will receive them on my birthday, which will be when we do the big reveal. I really wanted to tell them 2 days before because that will be the day of their last final, however DH thinks that since they are 2 teenage girls, they will need a couple weeks to decide what to wear :rotfl:.

I'm thinking of some Disney type outfit too. DD9 always takes Disney related outifts . She already requested a new minnie tutu so I might do that for goddaughter too.

I have two teen sisters and they are the same age as your girls and they have joined us on all our Disney trips except this one, but i know that if i say get your things ready we are going to Disneyland tonight. They will just throw things in a bag and not care about anything else except that they are going to DL.
