Hi, our trip is almost here (October) and I'm trying to gather everything we'll need for the baby.

We have ordered pampers, swim diapers, formula, baby food, dreft, etc. from Garden Grocer.

We are taking a MacClaren Quest Stroller and have purchased the sun shield from One Step Ahead, as well as the stroller fan.

We will be staying at the BWV, so we have a washer/dryer.
Just trying to think of everything. Also, trying to pack our carry-on bags for the plane (any suggestions here would be truly appreciated)... we do have the ready-to-feed formula (8 oz. cans) and plenty of diapers and wipes.)

Any last minute tips would be so truly appreciated (can you tell I'm getting nervous)...

Steve

It sounds like you mostly have it covered.

Don't forget to pack an extra shirt for Mom and Dad in the diaperbag for the flight. In the case of a spit up incident, you'll be happy.

You also didn't mention: carseat, basic medication (tylenol, gas drops, anbesol if she is teething), a few little toys to distract her (a rattle or something that you can hook onto the stroller is nice).

Most of all, just be patient, and have fun.

Not sure if you have one or not, or even it you like them. But when we went to Disney with our DD when she was 6 mos. old, we had one of those backpack carriers. It was fantastic! She absolutely loved it in there and it was pretty easy to carry her around in it.

Don't forget little snacks for the baby. I also just go through my daily rountine and think of the things that I would need. Don't forget the diaper rash cream (Balmex or Desitin) and powder.

I will have to tell you...when we went when our DD was 6 mos old, it was probably the easiet and best trip that we had. Once she was mobile, it was a little more difficult. But now that she is 3 it is getting more fun and interesting now that she is into all of the characters.

Just have fun and don't worry about anything.

We brought DS to WDW at 5 mos and again at 9 mos. If your baby is a spitter, plack lots of burp cloths. We still go through tons every day and he's now 10 mos old! Also, a large-ish blanket and some toys to put on the floor on the room so baby can play.

I bought disposable changing pads for diaper changes in the parks. I like the idea of throwing the changing pad away vs. putting my fabric pad down on a germy changing table and then putting it back in my back when I'm done changing DS's diaper. Yuck. I also brought scented bags for disposing of stinky diapers. Those were great too.

Don't forget lots of batteries for the stroller fan and a screwdriver (if needed) for the battery compartment.

Sunbock (if your ped has OK'd it), sun hat, and a lightweight blanket (the A/C in some restaurants can be quite chilly).

Are you using the resort's Pack N Play? I brought my own PNP sheets so that they smelled like home. I think it makes it easier for baby to fall asleep in a strange place.

Tylenol, baby thermometer and Vaseline, nose drops and syringe, and nail clippers or emory board.

I also brought a couple of footed sleepers, as the A/C in the rooms can be chilly.

Don't forget your camera to capture your little one enjoying the World! Have a great time! :goodvibes

We will be taking our son when he is six months old in December. One thing on my packing list is either one of those tub cushions at toys r us or an inflatable bath tub I saw on line to make bath time alot easier.

When DS was an infant we were given a tub cushion (basically a big sponge in the shape of a teddy bear) and it was one of the most useful items we had for the first year. You can use it on top of the cabinet or counter next to the sink for a quick sponge bath, or right in the tub so baby can lay down safely and comfortably. Highly recommended!

The White Hot Infant Bath Cradle by Munchkin seems like a good choice. The Summer Infant countoured one looks good as well.

If your little one uses pacifiers bring a ton! They get lost walking through the parks or dropped on the dirty carpet. Mine did and we brought 6 and ended up buying another 6-8 at the store (we bought everything OKW had!). Also, they make a really cool little pacifier keeper that was perfect- I clipped one onto my purse and one on her backpack/diaper bag.

I also always bring ziploc bags in sandwich size (for cheerios, etc.) and gallon size (put the change of clean clothes in it in diaper bag and then I have something to seal the dirty clothes in after changing; I also put a couple diapers, changing pads, and travel wipes in one, that way when I'm carrying the bag but DH changes DD, he can just take that- the thought of him setting the whole backpack on the floor in the mens' room freaks me out)

The blanket for the floor is a must and the pack and play sheets (I do that too laughinplace199).

As for formula, I always liked the single serve packets. It was easier than carrying the cans. Just buy a water bottle and mix it all together in the bottle when you need it. If you are doing baby food, get the plastic containers (gerber I think). That helped too. Also, forget about the baby spoons or bowls- you can just get a plate/spoon at any counter service. I used to pack all that and found it was more of a hassle than a help.

Maybe a rain cover for the stroller. We used to use a ponco and through it over and now we use cover made special for ours and it's so much better!

Good luck and have fun!
