Need Opinions

This is not really a camping question, but I know alot of you campers are from the west coast of Florida. I was wondering if anyone could give me some input and opinions of the Plant City area. Thanks all!

A little more information is needed. As a 32 year veteran of Florida, I can postulate an opinion on most anything. But, are you looking for a campground for a weekend, thinking about moving there or something in between?

My uncle has lived in Plant City for over 40 years. They actually live just up the road from the big strawberry festival (yumm). They have a pretty rural piece of property that was a working farm at one point. Still lots of orange groves, strawberry field, etc there, although some have been sold/built over.

From visiting him over the years it seems that while at one time Plant City was kind of "middle o' nowhere" there's been a lot more built up/around it in the recent past and you don't have to drive miles for a good grocery store or restaurant anymore.

That's about all I know - not sure it's helpful at all.
