We're planning on taking a trip in June to celebrate my DD's high school graduation. We've invited a friend of hers to go with us and we're considering inviting another. As it looks right now, there will be 6 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 children), and possibly another. We're looking at going for 9 days. We already have THV booked for the first 4 nights (that's all I could get). So now I need to book the remaining nights, but I'm not sure where we should stay. Any opinions or suggestions on where I should try to book? I just don't want us to feel like we're on top of each other. I also would like to stay at a place where all the kids would really enjoy themselves.

Thanks in advance for your help!

We did this last June for DD17's high-school graduation. She brought along her BFF. We stayed in a 2BR at BCV for 8 days. The girls had the studio side for themselves. The girls had an absolutely wonderful trip!

They loved being able to walk over to Epcot every day, stroll the boardwalk, & hang out by SAB every afternoon.

We also booked an Epcot Segway tour for DH & the girls. The minimum age is 16yo and that was DD's age at the time, so she just made it. Your younger kids won't be able to do it. I stayed behind with DS13 & we rode some rides in FutureWorld.

I had asked DD what her resort preference was for the trip & she stated that BCV was the only place she wanted to stay.

*Btw, I got the 2011 Mickey Graduation Ears (embroidered with their names) early in the spring. If you're interested....don't wait til you get down there, as the shops will be sold out.

There is also a DISer (RustMan Fan) on the Creative DISigns Forum that created some Disney graduation designs that I made into t-shirts for the girls. They looked great! The last time I checked, the designs were still in his Photobucket.

We go the 1st or 2nd week of June every year with my son and 4 or 5 of his friends as a reward for a yeard of hard work in school.

Last June we booked a GV at OKW, perfect since the 2nd & 3rd bedroom both have 2 beds, we were 11, actually 13 but they were in an addt'l studio. However in years past we've always done it in a 2 bedroom, 7 to 8 of us. Since we have just boys and they don't want to sleep together (all 15yrs old), I always bring air mattresses and now with the addition of the very comfortable sleeper chair, and the pull out couch, there's ample room especially at OKW since the rooms are really much larger and the 2nd has 2 beds. OKW is the best!

My son a DVC'r since 3yrs old is the old pro regarding the parks, the transportation etc. We were able to give them freedom to come and go. They did the buses, they took the boat from OKW to DTD, we always ate dinner all together and did some things as a group, but they really enjoyed their independence and we all had a wonderful time. In fact, doing it again this June, can't wait!

Congrats to the graduate and have a wonderful time.

Thank you for your responses! We were able to get a 2 bdrm at BWV for the last 3 nights. We're pretty excited about it because we've never stayed there before! We also thought that the kids would really enjoy the Boardwalk and all it has to offer. We did have to change our original dates a little. The plan was to be there Jun. 14-22. But now we're going June 12-21. We used all of our points and were considering either renting or transferring points to cover the extra nights at a DVC. But after crunching the numbers, we decided to get our first 2 nights with 2 rooms at Pop with the military discount. It was cheaper than getting more points for just 1 night. Now we'll have 2 extra nights! Are we totally crazy? :crazy2:
