Heading out to Disneyland next week and looking for opinions on either the Red Lion, Best Western Stovall, or Anaheim Plaza. I am going to California on business, but added a few extra days to visit the parks. I want a hotel within walking distance, is clean and safe (especially since I am traveling alone). I will have a car and realize there may be fees for parking.

We stayed at the Red Lion last November and liked it well enough that we will stay there again during our next visit this coming February.

The rates are decent, the hotel is clean, and it is within walking distance, no doubt. They did charge extra for parking, but I think many of them do. What we REALLY liked was that their parking lot is ample and super secure. You have to have a ticket to get in and out through the gates. We parked and never worried about our truck for a second.

I highly recommend for the price.

I usually stay at the Anaheim Plaza every time I go. Its very close to the main entrance of the park. About one block. I'd say it's clean enough. It's what you would expect from a place in this price range. Most of the rooms have a little balcony or patio. Another nice part about it is that it is a 5 minute walk to the Garden Walk. Great place to get dinner or lunch. Safety wise, I don't think I've ever felt unsafe in any area around Disneyland. If I remember correctly there was a fee for parking but I don't remember how much it was. There was also a room deposit. Feel free to ask anything else. Enjoy your trip
