help me decide. We have the 2010 reg dining plan. This is what I have so far.

Saturday Lunch @ Crystal Palace
Sunday Breakfast @ Tusker House
Monday
Tuesday Dinner @ Mama Melrose
Wednesday Dinner @ Chef Mickeys
Thursday Lunch @ Garden Grill

We are a group of late 20's girls. I really want monday to have a grown up dinner. Preferably not in a park, maybe something that when we are done we could get a good view of fireworks.

What about Narcoosee's at the GF or Cali Grille at the Contemporary? You didn't really say what your price range is. Both are pricey, but def. grown up and nice views of the MK for fireworks.

I would recommend Citricos. It's in the GF. You can't see the fireworks from inside the restaurant, but if you can get an ADR time at the right point, you could walk down to the dock or beach to watch Wishes after dinner. It's definitely a "grown up" dinner place. You won't see as many kids here as you would at California Grill. Plus, it's a LOT easier to get an ADR for! I have booked a dinner at Citricos well after my ADR windows opened twice now, and had my pick of times.

I would pay for CP or Tusker House OOP because they are the cheapest, and then you have the 2 TS credits to pay for Citricos.

If you click on the dining report link in my signature, there's a review I just did of Citricos.

We loved our meal at Kona - it's not too fancy but it's a great spot, and while it's not signature dining you are very close to MK for Wishes afterwards...

Is Garden Grill serving lunch again? Last time I was at WDW it was dinner only, lunch had been discontinued.

I would also second the Kona. My DH and I did a date night at Kona last trip. We watched Wishes from the Poly beach and then had a good meal at Kona. If you like fish definitely try the Tuna Oscar! WOW!

I am on the dining plan. These are both listed on there as 2 TS credits. This may be an option. Thanks

It not being signature dining makes it really a plus.

Well I have an ADR @ 4:05. I am considering it a late lunch. I guess maybe it is dinner

Thats 2 for kona.

Thanks for the replies. I will be lokking into all of these here shortly

well if you would pick a park......the Tutto Italia in Epcot was elegant......the food was great and the service there unbelievable......the steak we had was melt in your mouth delicious......
if you go .....try it.....I think you will like it and so will your family

The 2 FS restaurants are all usually amazing, but for sheer value, my experience has been it's tough to get your 2x money's worth out of them. If you don't mind having to pay for one more meal out of your pocket, they are nice, but I prefer to stick with nice single FS restaurants for DDP.

If you are just looking for a nice FS experience, then I would also recommend Planet Hollywood (if you girls are looking for high energy night life feel) or one of the world themed restaurants in Epcot (Chef de France, Tokyo Dining, Tepan Edo) if you want a quiet elegant dining experience

Tepan Edo is kind of like a Benihana's I believe. We ate at Tokyo Dining this last time and it was so calm & relaxing.... the sushi was excellent as well. We had a nice view of Illuminations fireworks from our table. Get a table at the window
