We are getting free dining for 5 nights, here is my list...

Cape May Breakfast-kids want to do the character meal
Cape May Dinner-kids are psyched for crab legs and we are staying at BC
CRT-DD b'day dinner

Went to WDW a year ago and want to try all new places. Here is where we ate last time...

Boma Dinner
Ohana Dinner
H&V Lunch
Akherhaus Breakfast
Chef Mickey's Breakfast

We need one more place. Suggested Prime Time, my 7 year old son told me that old stuff freaks him out. Not sure why, but he does not want to eat there, it is funny...If there is two TS places I would pay OOP.

Since you guys seem to like the buffets, how about Crystal Palace? I've only been for breakfast, but I think it's delicious and has good character interaction in a pretty setting.

We did Crystal Palace New Year's Eve last year for dinner. It was awesome. :thumbsup2

Instead of Cape May for two meal and you want crab legs keep it for dinner and then do Tusker House Character breakfast at AK?:)

And for one more maybe the Whispering Canyon for some fun since you don't want to do Prime Time? I haven't been here but heard it was fun. ;)

There are so many great restaurants to choose from while at WDW I would definitely not go to Cape may twice..You are in such a great location staying at the beach club.. There re some great restaurants in that area.. R u doing the DDP? If not, try a restaurant at the Swan or Dolphin, as they are not part of the DDP..If you are , then I would choose something in the area that you ar staying in..

Since you are staying at the beach club I would try for one of the restaurants in World Showcase one night for dinner, then maybe stay for Illuminations. I think they are all good, it just depends on what kind of food your kids like. Some of our favorites are:

Via Napoli
Tutto Italia
Teppan Edo
Nine Dragons

There are several others that get good reviews that I have not tried yet.

Rose & Crown
Biergarten
Le Cellier
La Hacienda de San Angel

Rose & Crown and La Hacienda even have tables where you view Illuminations from if you wanted to eat around 7:30-8:00 and catch the fireworks.

Have a great trip, I know I love trying new restaurants each time we do as well! :goodvibes

Biergarten is one of our favorites. We love the food and the entertainment. It was a great surprise the first time, because German is not one of my favorite cuisines, but we thought this was a great buffet.

We love 50s Prime Time Cafe at DHS, Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge, & Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Ft Wilderness. These are all fun family-friendly places. We've liked Crystal Palace in the past.

I would also suggest Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends or the Garden Grill at Epcot which has Chip & Dale and gang. Food is great at both!:thumbsup2
