So we'll have 9 TS credits for our trip and we're thinking this:
California Grill-dinner (backup: Narcoosseee's or 'Ohana ... want to see the fireworks)
Jiko--dinner
Hollywood Brown Derby--early dinner (F! package, backup: H&V)
Boma breakfast buffet
Raglan Road--lunch or dinner, (backup: Rose & Crown)

But we need 1 more 1-credit meal. We were hoping for T-Rex (only thing about the whole trip DH has actually said he wants to do, guess who's the Disney fan around here?) but it doesn't take DDP.

Other options we're considering are Marrakesh (will definitely do the Tangierene Café), San Ángel Inn (but we can get good Mexican food here), The Plaza, Wolfgang Puck Café, Spoodles, Tusker House, or Boma lunch/dinner (but 3 trips out to AKL might be excessive!). I like the '50s Prime Time Café okay, but DH can be not so into the silliness.

BTW ... 2 adults, no kids, mostly vegetarian + seafood, occasionally eat meat if it's free-range/organic. Wouldn't mind seeing characters if the food is good, but don't mind missing them either. My absolute favorite meal was the Garden Grill breakfast, but it is no more. :sad2:

I would really consider Marrakesh as your other TS. DH and I will be eating there in Sept because we thought the food at Tangierene Cafe was so good, I can't imagine we would be disappointed. So that would be my vote for you.

I suggest Artist's Point or Citricos for a great adult meal...though these are 2 credits each.
I would pick up one of these, and pay OOP for Raglan Road. Their prices are very reasonable.
If you only want 1cr TS, what about Le Cellier? (if you can get it!) It was the fav meal of everyone from the 7YO to the 62YO.
Ohanas is only 1TS, so if you go w/ that it frees up a TS credit. I don't know that I would eat there just 2 adults...it is overrun w/ kids (don't get me wrong..a fav from last trip & we will do it again...but pretty crazy)

If you had 2 left for each of you, I would suggest Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. It is our favorite Disney restaurant. Ther service, the chef and the food are fabulous! We have been known to use 1 table service each and pay for the other half of the bill. It's just that good!

We had seriously been considering Artist's Point, but if we pay OOP for any TS (we are planning to mostly eat CS when we have to pay OOP) it will be T-Rex since DH wants to go there.

I've been to Le Cellier and it was pretty good (not, say, the best food I've ever eaten, but someone took me there for my b-day when I was a CM so hey, you free Le Cellier, which is actually what it would be this time ...), and I guess all the other 1-credit options are also pretty good, so ...

My family and I love Kona Cafe for dinner in the Poly. Spoodles will be closed by the time your vacation rolls aroung.

My aunt is a huge Disney World fan (they go at least twice a year) and suggested Kona, and OMG does their menu look amazing (tons of seafood! with wasabi!). Plus Poly is on the monorail line. So I think that's it.

Kona is yummy! :)
