Need offsite hotel near AKL

I need recommendations for an AFFORDABLE (less than $75) offsite hotel closest to AKL. We just need it for one night (5/31) before we check into our villa. We will be using it for sleeping only, don't need transportation or breakfast or anything like that; but we do want something safe and comfortable. TIA!!!

Found a couple of options for you, all on 192 just east of the "shortcut" entrance to Animal Kingdom area...

Quality Inn Maingate West
Standard Room - $48

Best Western Lakeside Inn (my wife has stayed here before -- on a girls weekend - and liked it)
Standard Room - $63

You may want to check out biddingfortravel.com about using Priceline to bid for a hotel in that area. I've stayed in a few in the past several years right there off of 192 close to the shortcut road leading to the backside of AK and my bids were all accepted under $75. There is a Holiday Inn which is very close to that area and was okay and I also have stayed at a Radisson in that area as well as a Best Western and both of those were fine as well.

another vote for Best Western Lakeside...we spent 3 nights there last year and were very pleased.
