I've been combing all of the ideas sites for game ideas, but I haven't figured it all out yet. I want to think of an activity/game for each princess. Here's what I have so far:

Ariel-
Sifting for jewels from Ariel's Grotto- The kids will take turns hunting for jewels in the sandbox.

Cinderella- Cinderella's Royal Ball (freeze dance)

Snow White- Pass the Poison Apple

Jasmine- Jasmine's Musical Carpets (essentially "musical chairs" using squares of cloth that look like carpets)

I'm stumped for Belle and Sleeping Beauty....any ideas?

how about something with tea potts for Beauty and the Beast? Maybe you can go to the thrift store and buy some pretty patterned tea cups and sucuers and then have races with them. On one end they fill up the cup with "tea" and then the race to the finish line using only one hand to carry the cup and saucer. I just made that up, so if it's not fun, I'm sorry! hahahaha but I was thinking of Mrs. Potts and Chip. Maybe you can play a song from the movie as they do it.

We just went to a princess party and they did a very cool and simple art project for the girls.

Go to the dollar store and buy plain picture frames (4x6) with a big border (these were silver colored). Go the craft store and buy the adhesive pop-up dots and a bag of those big plastic jewels. You put the pop up dots all over the frame and stick the jewels on top. Very simple, very flashy, and the girls just loved making them. Each girl had their picture taken and the pictures were printed off before they left. They took home their decorated frame with picture and everyone loved it.

The jewels could be tied in with Jasmine.

Could you not play the sleeping lions game for sleeping beauty? (In case that is UK specific, basically everyone lies still, and if you move you are out). As a variation you could do it to music like musical statues but lying down.)

For Belle we made bookmarks: foam bookmarks and foam die cut decorations. I actually found Disney princess bookmark made from foam. This worked well.

For Sleeping Beauty we decorated tiaras: foam tiaras (from craft store) and prestickied jewels (from Oriental Trading Co). OTC was the only place I found jewels already with adhesive on them. You could find regular ones in a craft store and use glue dots or regular glue, but regular glue will need drying time before wearing.

My daughter went to a princess party, and they did some really cute things. They each decorated their own tiara with glitter, stickers, etc. Also, they each did their own bead necklaces. Ahead of time, she put the beads spelling out each girls name that was at the party into a sandwich bag, so they started out with that, but had little divider cups with other beads for them to add to that to make their own necklace. My daughter thought that was neat. She had also found a princess bingo game that they played, and gave out little disney princess related things as prizes. HTH

What about a search for things from the movie. Sleeping beauty: a rose, a teapot, teacup and a yellow dress. You can get mini things at a craft store or toys at a dollar store. :)

My daughter went to a princess party and made cute princess diaries from Oriental Trading. That might work for Belle since she loves books. Also check out birthdaypartyideas.com - they have lots of ideas! Here is the link for princess parties:

Edited to add: The princess bingo game is also fun, as someone else mentioned. You should be able to search online to find printable princess bingo cards.

What clever games you already have! I threw a princess party for my daughter and we didn't have nearly as much fun as your party already sounds! One game we played that the kids like is a princess version of pin the tail on the donkey. Mine was really simple- I ordered a unicorn version with stick-on horns from some party express website and pretended they were princess pets. Maybe you could do "Belle pin the rose on the beast" or something. I also did a princess pinata and found a "What is a princess" book at Wal-Mart that the kids loved. Another idea that we did was pink playdough with glitter rolled in and cookie cutters related to a princess like a shoe, etc. The pink playdough could be sleeping beauty's magical playdough.
Good luck! Sounds like you have a great start!

The link posted above is what I use for all of my parties!

For Belle, you could read them a story since Belle loves to read. You could even read them Beauty and the Beast. Or have them make up a silly story together (each one contributing a line) then you read it back to them. Start with something simple like, "Once upon a time there was a Princess named (your dd) who was having a birthday when all of a sudden....."

For Aurora, something to do with a garden or wildflowers would be nice to commemorate her 'walk in the woods'. When she meets Phillip she is going to pick berries to make something (a pie?). Maybe they could have you make something yummy with berries. Or each girl could plant a small strawberry plant in a clay pot to take home. Or they could plant flowers in a pot. Or you could have a dragon pinata that is Maleficent and they have to crack her open.

how about for sleeping beauty if you played a version of the be quiet game--everyone lays on the floor with their eyes closed like sleeping beauty and doesn't move--if they giggle or move they're "out" and see who makes it the longest--if it ran over the time aloted then you could just give a prize to more than one winner....

These are all great ideas...thanks bunches! The party is actually a "Royal Tea Party"....so I think I'll just attribute the snack/tea (and punch) part of the party to Belle and call it "Belle's Princess Tea". I might either do something with finding roses (or relay races with artificial roses) for Sleeping Beauty. I like the idea of having them lie on the floor and playing the quiet game...I might save that for an extra or transition activity.

BTW-
We are making princess hats (using birthday hats with tule coming out of the point, feathery fringe hot-glued on the edge, and glued on gems).

We are also decorating SMALL "treat boxes" that they will fill with little candies like gummi bears, m & m's, etc. I saw this at a wedding where the colorful candies were displayed in glass containers and served as part of the decoration. I bought different size plastic vases for this purpose.

They are also going to decorate their own cupcakes with sprinkles, etc.

what about buying those kits at walmart that have those tiny teacups. I believe there is 4 tea cups and a saucer for around 6 bucks. each girl gets to paint their own tea cup and your daughter can paint the tea pot.

We just did a princess party here for 15 kids - I planned it to the last detail, & from my experience can suggest you may have enough already, many kids were overwhelmed w/ all the games we had going on, I ended up giving prizes away w/out doing the games, & the kids just wanted to play on the swingset & color princess coloring pages! Less can be more sometimes!

At my daughter's party two years ago, we had a table set up with pretzel rods. The long, tubular, thick pretzels. Then we let the girls dip the end of the pretzel in white frosting and then sprinkle with colored sugar crystals (blue, purple, and pink) from Michael's in the cake decorating section. They were the best fairy wands! Huge hit!

The Princess theme was my favorite party that I planned for my daughter. I did some of the same things you're planning:

When the girls arrived, they decorated party hats that had the tulle. The boys decorated cardboard swords and shields that I made.

Then we did a game for each princess. Pin the Crown on Cinderella. Pass the "poisoned" apple for Snow White. We did Tea Cup relays for Belle. I used the plastic toy set that my daughter had. (she had a few). On the tray, was the teapot and a cup and saucer. The girls had to walk without spilling it or they had to start over. For Jasmine we played the Magic Carpet game. Then for Sleeping Beauty, they battled the dragon. I made a dragon-shaped pinata.

We had a castle-shaped cake for dessert. And Star-shaped cookies on a stick (magic wands). The girls all came dressed as their favorite princess. It was a magical party for all!
