Scheduled to visit WDW 5/12-17/05. Looking for some advice/help with my decision for a resort. Thinking about staying at a moderate and I was wondering about pools since it will be pretty warm that time of year. My spousal unit and I will make the trip with no children. Looking for a quiet pool at one of the moderates. HELP! Also understand the pool at the Wilderness Lodge gets a little crazy, pls comment.....

CSR has 3 quiet pools along with the main pool area. Check out pics on my CSR website below

CBR has quite a few quiet pools. We didn't like our room at CSR that overlooked a quiet pool. They were still yelling and screaming at midnight.

I have lots of pictures of the pools at CBR. Sites are listed below.

CBR :) Every village has a quiet pool and if you request a village not quite so close to the food court, you'll surely have a quieter stay ;)

Have a great trip!!

The grounds at Port Orleans are beautiful and have several quiet pools on the property.

If you haven't already, you will now get opinions from everyone stating why such and such is their favorite. We've been to them all and mostly liked them all. For the time of year you are going, and if all you want is a "quiet pool", I'd imagine CBR would be the least filled up resort, therefore, the "quietest". Otherwise, pick the theme that appeals to you most, you can't make a bad choice among the moderates IMHO.

The only moderate I probably wouldn't choose if I were you is PO- French Quarter, because there is only the main pool there, which can be pretty loud. The other three have the main pool plus "quiet" pools that are located in some of the different sections.

AT WL the pool does get pretty crazy; my DDs liked going to the pool by the villas because it was quieter :sunny:

POR Mansion side quiet pools were always quiet, almost empty each time we went. We have been on AB side by quiet pool, and while it wasn't loud, we did find it being used regularly as many families of 5 stay on that side for the trundles. We had a room close to a CSR quiet pool and found it to be extremely quiet and peaceful.

POR is beautiful. Building 18 is by one of the quiet pools. Depending on when you're going, it's like have your own private pool. Highly recommend POR. They have the carriage rides around the grounds, bike rentals, boat rentals, and a boat to DTD. It's a wonderful resort.

We loved our stay in POR at Magnolia Terrace. Just a short walk to Ole Man Island and the main pool and pool bar. The quiet pool at Magnolia Terrace was indeed a quiet one. Very nice area. We really enjoyed our early morning swims there!!! And the resort itself is a little more upscale than some of the other moderates..well, the mansion section is anyway.
