For our visit later this month we will be using the Entertainment book if we can for meal savings. I know Disneyland is in Anaheim and we will be staying in Irvine. What do you call the general area around Universal Hollywood? The address just says "Universal City" which doesn't help a lot.

I believe Universal City pretty much is just Universal Studios and Citywalk. You could always go into Mapquest and put in the name of the restaurant and the city--it'll show you where it is.

Universal City is just north of Hollywood and right next to Burbank. It's not exactly close to Anaheim at all. In fact, with traffic, it could be anywhere from an hour to two hours or more. Personally, I would skip Universal Studios all together. If you are used to the cleanliness, hospitality and "magic" of Disney, you aren't going to find any of that in Universal. It's a whole different feeling there -- kind of run-down, dirty, loud, and there are few family friendly rides. If you want to see some Hollywood magic I recommend the Warner Bros studio tour. Not a theme park, but an EXCELLENT tour of the studio. Or, check tvtickets.com and get free tickets to a sitcom taping. That's a LOT of fun! Have a good trip!
