....and who better to ask than you lot:lmao::lmao:

This years nominated charity at DD's school is Great Ormand Street hospital. As GOSH owns the rights to Peter Pan, the school is conducting it's usual full week of charitable events finishing on Friday with dress up day.
DD7 doesn't want to go as tinkerbell (the costume we have is a little small) but would really like to go as Wendy. I can't find a costume (that is age appropriate ;) ) for love nor money. I've also tried to find a blue nightie with no luck.
Has anybody seen a Wendy costume anywhere? We are currently considering one of Daddy's work shirts (nightshirt) and a top hat like John darling.
Any other ideas?

Lots of possibilities with Peter Pan. What about Tiger Lily - a long brown t-shirt with hem cut in fringes, have a belt and make a head dress (you can even make feathers using card or drinking straws and crepe paper) - or a mermaid, I think I saw a mermaid costume in Tesco - or a pirate.

Wonderful! I completely forgot about tiger lily - my friend has a Pocahontas outfit that I'm sure will do....our craft box has some feathers for a headress :cool1::cool1: I am one happy mummy as it will really suit Anna with her brown hair, I can try my best to get it into two little pony tails ::yes::
Thank you Libby - you're a star, I'm sure when I ask her she'll be happy with this idea, much more than my night shirt and lost boys ideas :lmao:

Here's Tiger Lily on her way to school....

Glad that my suggestion helped - she looks very good and I love her bunches.

I couldn't see the pics earlier as I was a t work - she looks great :thumbsup2

She is adorable, thanks for sharing:goodvibes

Thanks everyone, she looked really original, there were only around half a dozen Tiger Liliy's in the whole school, and I have to say she looked the best ::yes:: The teachers really made an effort too, I wish you all could have seen them. There is a rather young attractive teacher and her mermaid outfit was something to be seen:lmao::lmao: especially the sparkly green three inch heels ::yes::
Thanks again to Libby for the suggestion, I ended up buying the dress from ebay for next to nothing and making up the rest as I went along!
The school raised close to £700 for GOSH:goodvibes
