need input on summer rates!

We'd like to book a short trip this coming summer, but have only been to universal in May, and that was before HP opened. I'm wondering which summer month is going to have the best room rates for royal pacific resort, and if the annual pass discount is ever good in the summer. (we are flexible as to when we travel) thanks for you help!

I advise you to look at the Date and Rate threads from previous years to get a good idea. Just search Date and Rate 2012, etc and they should come up.

Go to universalorlando.com/Hotels/Onsite-Hotel-Rates-and-Offers/Seasonal-Rates.aspx it will show you the lowest rates for the different time frames throughout the year. From what I can tell by looking at that page August 18th - October 3rd offer the lowest rates.

July 2010, right after HP opened we could get a room discount with a general public discount of stay 3 nights get 30% off.

Aug 2012, no discounts unless you stay 4 nights or more for the general discount. I got an AP and got 30% off of our room for 3 nights. The AP gave us merchandise and food discounts too.

I hope my AP has a discount next summer to as we are heading back June 2013
