Was not at home yesterday and therefore, unable to check out DIS boards but just checked an hour ago and saw all the postings re: BAT. See what you can miss in one day!!!! lol

So I frantically called and booked all star music using BAT for 4 nights starting Dec. 19. The CM said she was VERY surprised that it was still available for my requested dates. The price was $55/night plus tax. I am so excited I will not be able to sleep tonight.

Originally was planning on staying off site but with a price like this am rethinking (haven't made a deposit yet was just given a ressie #).

Question:
I know nothing about Disney resorts (besides what I have read in the last few days on this board or on the WDW web site).

I have requested a room in the BUZZbuilding.

Can someone tell me anything about the resort and/or direct me to a website(s) where I can get additional information on resort layout, good room locations, food court, pools, recreation, etc. etc.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you,

Hi riu girl,

Hope I'm not going too overboard,
but here's all my links to ASMo.
We're going in February 2005 hopefully.
Have fun in December!

By the way, you did book at MOVIES, right?
In your post you referred to AS MUSIC
but then mentioned the Buzz building...
Just making sure!

Cool, THANKS! I want to try and get a room overlooking the pool, on the first floor, not to far from the main building, standard with a cool character, parking lot close. (Kids aren't into mighty ducks) HMM, too much to ask for? I'll have to check the map.

Anyone know if on Holloween there will be bus sharing or will it be too busy?

Thanks!

I just spent about 3 hours looking at the web sites you sent me.
For $55/night (BAT rate) it looks amazing.

just not sure on room request though. Originally I had requested third floor in the Buzz building but not sure now. maybe Woody building would be better (and then could see Buzz from there).

Decisions, decisions!!!!

Any input would be great!!!!!!

You're Very Welcome!

I loved the UK one, there was SO much
more info there!

Ok, the one word of advice I'd give you
is what I've come to learn is the mantra
of the DIS Boards Reservation Gurus:

Repeat after me,

It's ONLY a REQUEST, :genie:
It's ONLY a REQUEST, :genie:
It's ONLY a REQUEST... :genie:

Ask for whatever you want/need, but
remember NOTHING is guaranteed,
(unless CRO has guaranteed you something
for health reasons).
Be sure to ask for your requests in the order
of priority for you & your fellow travelers.
This way the staff knows why you're asking
and will certainly try to accomodate you.
And I've heard that you should try to stick
to just a few requests, not a lengthy list.

Have fun planning!
We were originally scheduled for early November,
but had to postpone - now I'm frantically doing
most everything all over again for February,
at least "research" wise.

TTFN
