I'm planning a trip in the spring. Myself and my son (12) will be taking my parents (both 60). I am beginning to think we may stay concierge. It would be nice to have access to snacks and drinks throughout the day for my parents as well as more personalized attention. I want to make this trip really magical for them and think concierge would definitely be the way to go. We are thinking of staying at either the Poly or GF, but we are open to any/all suggestions.

My question is this...for those of you that have stayed concierge, what did you like/dislike about it? Did you think it was worth the extra money? Which hotel do you think has the best concierge service?

TIA

I've stayed concierge at the following resorts: Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Contemporary, and Yacht Club. I've had lovely experiences at each of those resorts. Which one was my favorite? Boy, that's too tough to answer. The Grand Floridian is my favorite resort all-around, so I would probably say that. However, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is another one of my favorites and their Concierge Staff has always been top-notch. Then again, the Contemporary's staff was wonderful, too. And the Yacht Club is in a wonderful location... I guess you can see why I can't give you a definite answer!

Decide what sort of resort you want to stay in and then book a concierge room there. That way you'll have what your heart truly desires, and concierge service on top of it will be icing on the cake.

No matter what you decide to do, I hope you have a wonderful vacation.
