I'm thinking of booking this hotel the night before our cruise. I'm looking for reviews. There are 2 adults and 2 kids in our party. We plan on arriving late and leaving early. Also, the price is quite high. Anyone have any tips on how to get the rates down?

My sister's family stayed there when they went on their cruise last year. My nieces loved it, the pool was great and the older niece (10 at the time) seemed to meet about half the people who would be on the ship with them!!

Seriously, the hotel was decent. I joined them out their for the afternoon and dinner. We didn't eat at the hotel, instead we ate at the italian place next door to it.

My sister definately will stay there again the next time they go on a cruise.

We stayed there before our cruise.... But it has been quite a while now.

We were lucky and got a 1br suite. It was really nice! And, we loved the hotel and the location. The van service to the ship was excellent.

However, it is an older hotel, and I am not sure that all of the smaller rooms are as nice as our suite was. When we made our reservations, they were getting mixed reviews.

To find the cheapest Rates, go to the Radisson site, and then keep navigating till you see ALL available rates. (at least that is way it used to be.) Then you will see any promotional rates that they might have.

The new RonJon resort seems to be a highly recommended place to stay.

If you are arriving late, and leaving early for your cruise... Then you may want to find a cheaper room nearby, since you will not really have much time to enjoy the Hotel, Pools, etc...

You could go online to any Travel Site and pull up Cape Canaveral and see what all is available.

You should really post this over on the Cruise Board!!! There is sure to be some good info about nearby places to stay. Maybe a Mod will see this and move this thread over there?

We like the Rad Also , Have stayyed twice before our Cruises we never paid more than 120.00 per night.. Call them or go to there web site
also Someone else mentioned Ron Jon's hurricane did a number to it in October and we did not get to Stay this trip...

Rad has a free shuttle to the ship ... if u are driving u can leave your car there for the cruise..
