need info on Dance dance Revolution!

Afternoon all, I am looking for some info on Dance Dance Revolution games. My son has a game cube, and my daughter has a PS2. (i know spoiled) anyhoo, I was looking into getting them each this game for easter. Im looking for reviews on the game and each system. Anyone , anyone? Thanks In advance for youre reviews. Tammy

Just get the PS2 version.

Gamecube is pretty much done and there are only two dancing titles for it, plus very poor selection of dance pads.

IMO Dance pads are very important, get the nicest one you can find. Instead of buying both versions just use that money towards nicer pads for the PS2.

PM me if you are interest in buying a used but nice pad and games for the PS2. My son has out grown them, only used it for a party and then it was forgotten..

WE bought the pads but DS got bigger and so we got him the arcade one for $299...it is great and they always sell them cheeper also..like $199 or less. Will find the sight and post it incase you are interested in it. They work great And as far as the game itself yes I agree with the other poster....PS2

We have the PS2 verison, Extreme2. It is a VERY addicting game!! When we first got it, we played for 5 hours!! We have a good time using it. My whole family, DH, DS16 and DS13 use it quite often in family matches. We also bring it for our youth group to use.

I bought it for me to use for exercise. It has a workout mode to track calories burned,etc.

It is definitely lots of fun!!

We have the PS2 version. I bought it for me. DD7 has become quite good at it. You can purchase two mats and two people can play the game side-by-side. I think the mat we have is called High Octane or something like that. It is padded and has held up very well.

DDs got this for CHristmas for thr PS2. I have to say it's one of the few items tht they still pul out on a regular basis. Ours came with a dance mat, got the whole kit at Circuit City for $60

ok let me admit, i played it this weekend at my bf home, she got it for her 30th b-day! I became addcited, am I wrong to get it for them so I can play! LOL Oh well I guess I will have to get it anyway!

My dd has one with 2 dance mats (get the cordless!). She has DDR and DDR Extreme. She loves them!
