Need inexpensive quick dry shorts for DW!

I need to find board shorts that aren't expensive for DD13! The ones at Aeropostale are $24.50, and I don't want to spend that especially for 3 or 4 pair. I don't want her wearing her sweat shorts or jean shorts if we are going to be getting wet at the parks. I looked on Lands End, but they are expensive.

Anyone see any great deals?

No leads on deals but if they are quick dry couldn't she wear them several days. Maybe you could buy 2 pair and wash one in the sink each night?

Do you have an Academy near you? Their brand, Austin Clothing Company, has some quick dry shorts than I love (for women). They are $9.99. They might have some for girls, too. HTH!

No, we don't here in Montana. I've never even heard of it. I'm headed out to see if there are some at Target or Macy's that aren't uber short like I have seen.

If you like the ones at Aero, they are on sale 2 for 35 which brings them down to 17.50 a piece, not cheap, but a little better.

Wanted to add that you only need to worry about getting wet at AK(Kali River) and MK (Splash mountain)
Epcot and HS you really don't get wet at all. My DD (now 12) took one pair last year and wore them twice. (they were the lands end ones and they did hold up great) lands end has a couple on clearance (but the sizes are limited - I saw one swim quick dry material skirt- that was a 12 and one that was a 16 (I don't know what size she is?) And they were only $4.99.
If she wears a slim there are many many more(I oredered dd a pair from here)

Thanks java! I just ordered swim shirts for all 3 girls and some swim skirts for my younger two plus some swim shorts for my DD7. Didn't see any for my DD13, but I needed to get that done so we don't fry at the beach after DW. Thank you!! I love Lands End quality.

I bought some jogging shorts from Target that are nylon just for WDW. They have a panty lining inside. They are not long like board shorts, but not really, really short.

If she wants longer board shorts, you could try some from the boys department at Walmart or Target. If she likes them, you could cut out the liner.

I just came from Target and bought her some nylon shorts so hopefully they will fit and she likes them! Good idea about the jogging shorts - I looked at those and liked the styles better but knew she would hate the liner. Didn't think about cutting them out. Thanks for the suggestions!

Check out local sporting goods stores or online shops for deals on Columbia or Nike brands. I have two pair of Columbia shorts that aren't necessarily board shorts, but they are quick dry and were a GODSEND on our trip last June. I got soaked on Splash Mtn. and Kali River Rapids and dried in minutes. (They are meant to be fishing shorts)
My husband has a pair of Nike shorts that are the same way.
