We are going for 12 nights in May to finish planning our Disney wedding in december. My parents are coming with us and have put alot in to our wedding and we really want to do something special to say thank you but i dont know what?

We have already done several firework cruises!

Would they enjoy a day at Discovery Cove complete with the Dolphin Swim? That would be a fantastic present, but in December, really warm dry weather cannot be guaranteed so...........

....what about booking a tour for them? There are lots to choose from -

Pick their fave park and select a tour accordingly!

At that time of year, there's the "Disney's Yuletide Fantasy" tour, which would take them to the parks and resorts on a motorcoach, providing insights into the holiday decorations!

Or how about booking them a treatment at the Grand Floridian or Saratoga Springs Spa? They do have treatments for gents and by booking one treatment, they get to use the Sap facilities all day - such as the Turkish steam baths, Finnish saunas and relaxation lounges. Men and women have separate jacuzzis.

Or, tickets for Cirque Du Soleil?

Or maybe dinner for two at an especially good restaurant such as Jiko, the Californian Grill or Artist Point etc.

LondonMom - it doesnt have to be disney themed but we are staying insite and d not have a car this time so being onsite wouldbe easier!

How about a balloon ride or there are companies like realfloridaattractions, keith prowse etc that can do an overnight trip to the bahamas including transfers etc? cirque du soleil is a thought if you haven't done that before or how about just a real nice dinner at V&As?

I would suggest afternoon tea at the GF - we did this the other day and my daughter loved it - so it must appeal to all ages. The setting is lovely. If you do this I would suggest booking soon, as it is very popular. We had the Buckingham Palace tea which was lovely and was $17.50 each I think? :sunny:

What about a Bass fishing trip for all of you, I know it sounds a bit boring, but we've always had a great time on fishing trips. They go from most of the resort hotels near lagoons/water. Think its about $200.

Is there a dress code for this? Or can you just go there in your 'park clothes' - t-shirt and shorts?
