My nephew has to make a pyramid for a school project...anyone have any ideas? The only rule is that it has to fit thru the doorway!

Yes, an Egyptian pyramid...

Chicken wire and model magic are pretty light weight and the model magic is carvable you could score the model magic to look like bricks. You can also paint the model magic after it dries. It has to be shaped and carved before it dries though.
ETA: you can buy Model magic in big tubs at Michaels, ACMoore, and Walmart. It's made by Crayola.

Large sheet of heavy duty cardstock, pyramid colour if poss. Draw a square and on each of the 4 lines draw an equilateral triangle (one where all 3 sides are of equal length) so the 4 triangles share their base lines with the sides of the square. Cut out the whole shape and score along the sides of the square then fold the four triangles up to form the pyramid and tape it together from the inside. That's how I'd make one!

Sugar Cubes were always a popular choice when I was in school.

Aah, I remember sugar cubes :rotfl: the ants really liked it, too

My son made one with sugar cubes, it came out really good!

I made one out of marbles. Glue to a cardboard base as a start. Use an extra large marble on top. It's great for a paperweight afterwards. :)
