Need ideas for the best resort CS

One of our days we plan to resort hop to check out all of the decorations in the resort. I need to know what would be a great place to have a CS lunch in one of the deluxe resorts (not doing S/D, or any mods, just deluxe resorts). We will begin our day with Boma BF at AKL, and then go from there. So, tell me ,where should we plan to do lunch? CS only. Thanks.

I would go to Captain Cooks at the Polynesian.

I enjoyed the Pork Sandwich and chips as well as the Caesar Salad with chicken; DH liked the Turkey Club and the Hawaiian Flatbread.

SSRs counter is one of my favorites! The flatbreads alone are amazing. but they also have many other great choices

I like the counter service at SSR. The flatbreads are good and the Smith Stack sandwich was awesome. I had two of them while on vacation

We want to check out the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian.
Now I'm wondering about their CS dining. Is there anything that is a don't-miss there?

Well, it isn't really counter service per se but the sushi bar at the Poly is great. Sushi doesn't take long so the time commitment a normal TS would take wouldn't be there.

If you are doing the BC, YC, Boardwalk resorts, I would suggest the Boardwalk Bakery. They have outstanding, huge sandwiches--our favorite is the turkey, bacon, swiss on multi-grain--at a pretty reasonable price. Of course, they have great desserts, too!

At Captain Cooks, I like the entree salad with a Dole Whip for dessert. The other CS I love is Mara at the AKL, butternut squash soup-YUM!

I would highly recommend the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary.

I love The Mara at AKL and Capt.Cook's at the Poly. If you're wanting to resort hop..head over to the Contemporary, look around there, then hop on the monorail over to the Poly, look around there/eat at Capt.Cook's, then hop on the monorail over to the GF and look around there.
