Hey all! I need to make a PS for our 2nd night at DLR. DL and DCA will both be closing at 6pm that night so I'm guessing that the DTD restaurants will be busy for the dinner house. We will have 8 in our party (that includes DD2 and DS4). Any suggestions in DTD or the hotels for a yummy meal that kids would also like that would easily accomodate a big group? We are already eating at Napa Rose one night and doing a Goofy's Kitchen dinner. We don't like Tortilla Jo's. Any other thoughts? Somewhere that does PS would be preferable . . .

I have not been to any of the places in/around Disneyland, but I think it should be noted that Rainforrest Cafe off-site (in Nashville) had me wait with my VERY excited (to "eat with all the animals") and hungry family for AN HOUR AND A HALF past our "reservation" time. You MAY want to steer clear of there. Although, DTD could and most probably IS different, whether better or worse. HTH. :goodvibes

Rainforest Cafe is popular, but it's not for me. Long wait, over-price, poor quality food. I'd go with ESPN the restaurant.

We have eaten at both and I have to agree, ESPN is much better. Besides they have tons of cool games upstairs for kids and adults.

Naples has ok food but the wait is long.

We have reservations for Goofy's kitchen for our trip, a lot of people recommended it.

I've never had any problems getting into RFC, even with our party of 7 the wait was only about an hour. The food is good too, we really enjoy RFC personally.

We also really enjoy Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, when we were there a couple weeks ago there was a large party seated near us, probably about 12 people, they just pushed some tables together to accommodate them. Good food too!!

I don't do Tortilla Joe's, we did the take out window once and DBF and I were sick after. :( We don't do HoB either, we had a friend was a really bad experience with a larger group so we just avoid it all together.

We've never done Catal or ESPN so I can't offer any info on those.

Since the parks are closing early, have you considered any places on Harbor? The first one that came to mind was Mimis. We ate there last year with 9 in our party with two little ones. The menu has a great variety - something for everyone. We also have eaten at Millies with 15 or more in our party. The food was also good and both places are very reasonable. You may have to wait while they put a few table together, but these might be an option for you.
Oh, there is also a Denny's and a Tony Roma's on Harbor that we have been to also. HTH!
