My friend's daughters cheer squad are heading to WDW for Nationals, Feb 5-8 :cheer2:
I am helping her with making gift bags for the girls for the trip. This is what I have got so far.....

Trial Size Toothpaste
Gum
Candy
Ponchos (Dollar Store)
Personalized Luggage Tags

Anybody else have any ideas.......preferable cheap, as there are 16 girls.

TIA

:cheer2: Awww lucky girls! :cheer2:

What about some of those cheap Glo sticks that you snap and make into jewellery for evenings at the parks? You can buy packs of them cheaply at dollar stores or wal mart. Also, I'm from England and the other day I managed to get a flashing minnie mouse cell phone charm for just a £1 - maybe there is somewhere that you could get something similar near you - it is a cute idea for teenage girls.

Hey! We'll be there for Twirlmania the following weekend - if we get in early we'll come and check out your competition.

One of the favourite gifts that the older baton twirlers got at an event was a t-shirt signed by all their friends - you could give each girl a plain t-shirt and a fabric marker and have a t-shirt signing party. Other suggestions: a small photo album, a Disney pin, a card holder and lanyard.

Good luck at Nationals! :cheer2:

Dollar Tree sells glo wands that are princess wands and swords....my boys LOVED them for a night at Epcot!

Ribbons for their hair, so they can all match! ANd I agree with the previous poster about the glow sticks/glow necklaces those will be a big hit and they are inexpensive!

I do for 20 something adults every year. I was the mother hen of our group of friends from college. :rotfl:

Get the Candy that isn't chocolate. Last year it was Sour Patch Kids and Sweedish Fish that kept us going. Also, as corny as it sounds, little kid party favors, who doesn't like a yo-yo.

Bandaids, and Purell. You can never go wrong with Banaids and Purell. :rotfl:

Great ideas so far!

Sunscreen travel packets.

Pocket size tissues.

Packet of face blotting paper (you know...the little thin papers that blot the oil?).

$5 or so ofdisney dollars...not so much as to break your bank, but enough for them to get a few ice creams.

Body glide or bandaid blister block.

Lip Smackers or some sort of Chapstick. I've seen Disney themed in walgreens.

Disposable cameras if you think each girl won't have a digital or other camera.

How about lifesavers, tissues, bandaids, hand sanitzer, granola bars are my little bag stuffers:) I do up to 30 for the Women of Faith conference.

how about lanyards? Sometimes you can find them at the Dollar Tree, and I've even picked up a POTC there once.

I like the t-shirt signing idea! You could even make a "logo" on your computer then print it onto transfer paper to iron on the t-shirts then they could be signed by each girls.

I would suggest disposable cameras, maybe even the waterproof ones. My daughter always has fun taking pool pictures!

a big sharpie so they can get character autographs. maybe in their team colors?

What T-shirt signing idea? It sounds good so far.
I think the cameras are a great idea. You know at least one or more will forget to pack a camera.

There are some great ideas here. I knew I could count on you. Thanx :thanks:

disney writting pens
disney journals
hand soap
sunblock
hair tyes and brushes

one thing to look for is the lanyard pouch (the clear plastic ting that holds room key ticket etc..)

We heard several cheerleaders(when we were there 2 yrs ago) saying they were having a hard time with these when they were in uniform.

OT but where is everythign being held? We will be there this time frame and my dd LOVES cheerleaders..

Last year the quarterfinals were held at Indiana Jones in DHS on Saturday. So, if anyone is going to be there on Sat, Feb 7, you can see the cheerleaders at Indy, buy, sadly, no Indy. So if your daughter wants to see cheerleaders, that will be the place to be.
