Need ideas for graduation gift for DD.

Hi everyone. DD graduated from college in December and we gave her her gift of money then. We are having a grad party for her this weekend and I want to get her a small gift, more of a keepsake item. Jewelry may be an option, but I don't want to spend more than $50 as DH and I already gave her a much bigger gift and the party has been quite costly as well. Any ideas? TIA

Get here a pair of cubic zirconia earrings. They will be nice, basics to have for interviews, etc.

Cubic zirconia will turn cloudy quickly. I'd suggest going to the Swarovski store and getting a pair of crystal earrings as they'll last longer and won't start to yellow like cubics do. Maybe get her diploma framed? Although that may cost more than $50.

Or an "alumni" sweatshirt from her college?

My daughter just graduated from college and we bought her a really nice dress watch. She had sporty ones, but I thought she would need a nice one for interviews and such.

Other idea would be a good camera or a GPS if her car doesn't have one.

A nice pen? Boring, I know, but I still use the gold and black Cross pen that I received for my graduation, 25 years ago.

Wow, some really excellent ideas! I LOVE those crystal earrings. I wonder if I can buy them in a store? Will have to look into that. Also love the camera idea, especially since hers got stolen on vacation last month.
