Need ideas for bridal shower

DD is in charge of planning a bridal shower for her SIL to be. She wants something different, but doesn't know what Something different. Other than the usual showing up, playing a few games and opening gifts.

Anybody have any neat ideas?

My fav is the "hour of the day" shower. When you send the invite's, you assign each guest a time. (If you have a large number of guests, you can assign more than one guest the same time.)The guest buys a gift that the couple would be doing/needing at that time. For example, 8am, breakfast, a coffee maker, frying pan, etc. I used to love getting midnight!

Have them write their time on the outside of the gift or card. Have the bride to be open them in "time order".
