I really like reading romances that are in a series, but I am particular in that I really only like historical romances in a series. My favorite authors are Leigh Greenwood (7-bride series, cowboys series and now the new Texas series), and Ana leigh (the MacKenzies).

Are there other authors out there that do historical romance series??? Thanks for the help

I've read several from Nora Roberts....The McCabe Bros. was good.

My favorite romance authors are Linda Howard (LOVE the MacKenzie sagas), Sandra Brown (LOVE the Texas! series), and Nora Roberts (she entwines books-I love that! I love getting updates on past love stories.:) ). I love Leigh Greenwood's series, too. I haven't read all the 7 Brides stories or all the Cowboy stories, but I've read quite a few of them.:) Cassie Edwards is another author I like to read (she does a lot of stories about Indians and the west).

There is an author that does a historical series that is very humorous and romantic at the same time. I think her name is Julie Garwood, but I might have that name wrong.

Try Dorothy Garwood's books. I particularly enjoyed her series that included "With Hope", "With Love", "With Song" and"After the Parade"these are set in the 30's & 40's. Linda Lael Miller's Springwater series is pretty wonderful too! :D

Vija,
I have 7 books I think -- by Stephanie Laurens -- they are historical romances all following cousins -- the Cynster family.....

I got these on ebay and they are in terrific shape -- but I didn't realize they were historical books - I LOVE series books but not particularly historical romances. If you haven't read them yet ---- I'll mail them to you! Drop me an email...... or maybe I'll see you on IM later.

:D

Oh yeah -- let me know how you enjoyed Fulcer-Con this weekend and your trip too!

Browneyes!!!!!!! Linda Howard is my FAVORITE author. I love all her books. I have like 23 or something. The MacKenzie's was a great saga, it is told over generations, so some of the books take place in the past, and some are present day. I have found some of the best authors by reading the book excerpt inside of Cosmopolitan. That is how I found Linda Howard. Cosmo did an excerpt from her Mr. Perfect book. Sometimes though you have to wait awhile before you can get them in the bookstore. I am not certain about series novels, but I also like Kathleen Woodiwiss (sp?) she has written some wonderful historical novels. I especially like Ashes in the Wind. It has to be one of my all time favorite novels. I am not big into westerns but my mother likes Diane Palmer's books a lot.
