We are doing a family gift exchange. The limit is $10. The group ranges in age from 15 to 60. There is not a theme or anything like that, just a $10 gift. I have no idea what to get. Any suggestions?

Can the gift be traded after unwrapping or does it need to be gender nuetral?

-You could do one of the stocking stuffer type gifts that Target and JCP sell like flashlights, 1st aid kits, book lights, grooming kits, etc
-Coffee/Cocoa and mugs
-Movie and a bag/box of popcorn
-Boardgame(s)
-both wii and xbox occassionally have cheap games, you might look at the clearance/sale rack
-gift card; Subway, McD, Coldstone, Starbucks
-Movie pass(es)

I tried to keep all the cousin's gift exchange to $10 a piece. Most of the teenagers I went to aerostople and was able to buy something for $10 each. hit the jackpot today and found some nice zipper jackets for $10. The girls are going to love them. The boys I bought shirts for.

I received a $10 gift card today for our local movie theater. It was a good idea since I have two small children. This at least helps with a little of the expense.

dd had to bring a dirty santa gift to her work party so we bought a gift card to starbucks. Figure her gift will be the most wanted gift there.

Gas card

Dunkin Donuts GC

Board Game (adult type kind....I took Partini to our holiday party yesterday and a few people wanted it!)

Scratch off tickets

Fancy food gifts (hot choco basket, etc.)

We will also be doing a $10 gift exchange next week, and the age range is 14 to 73. This includes 5 "kids" ranging from 14-20, 6 aduts - late 40's and my parents rounding put the group.

We will be getting 1 - $10 I-tunes gift card. We also have to get 2 other gifts too, since there are 3 of us in the group - so I am going to be keeping an eye on this thread!

Do you have a Red Robin restaurant in your city? When you buy a $20 gift card, you get a free $10 movie gift card. Keep the Red Robin card for yourself and give the movie card for your gift. Then it costs you nothing.

Certificates for,

Starbucks. Subway. Movie ticket. Pizza Pie. I Tunes. Gas (if the majority drive). Box of chocolate/candy.

Areopostale had wallets for $7, gave one last night for a $10 gift exchange & they loved it.

We're bringing a ladies pocket knife/multi-tool and a shower radio. Gift cards would take the fun out of it for me. JMHO

One of the little charms from Brighton is around $9, they wrap it beautifully too. I got the peace charm and also the square heart charm that says "you only live once". Both are the drop style so you don't need a bracelet can be worn as a pendant on any chain really.

Bath and Body works have their 3 wick pillar candles on sale 2 for 20- they are nice.
At the dollar store you could put together a nice "gift packing" gift- nice paper, bows to match, gift bags, cards, tissue paper if you did it for birthdays it would be a nice gift

I got an amaryllis bulb kit in a nice pot at Target for $7 - giving that to my DD's piano teacher along with some cash for Christmas.

We did secret santa at work and the limit was $20. I got little gifts (chocolate, mug, hot chocolate etc) for a few days and then a $15 borders card. $10 at border's would buy a nice paperback.

Do you have a Rite-Aid or a Christmas Tree Shop near you? Each has a version of the Snuggie, but for less than the limit.

20 Questions -- It is a small handheld game that sells for under $10. You think of an item (the girls on the hockey team thought of "tampon"), the game will ask you questions that you answer. Is it a animal?? etc. It asks you twenty questions trying to figure out what you are thinking. Then it will take a guess....And dang if it didn't figure out tampon!! :rotfl::confused3:rotfl:

I have bought this for a ton of people age 6 to 80 and everyone has enjoyed it!!!! I would say 98% of the time it can figure it out. It is wild.

If you look for it, it is shaped like a ball - no bigger than a tennis ball and is stocked with the little handheld games. Amazon has it for $7.99 - but a little late for that. It is listed as 20Q if you want to view it.
