Need Ideas and advice

My DF, who is only 33 lost her DH last week, he was only 37. They have a DS who is 6. I am looking for a really good book for her, and some wisdom as well. I got their DS the book When Dinosaurs Die. I would like to get her a book as well. I also would like to know if anyone as been through this on either side, what was most comforting to you.

I'm so sorry for your friend. I just can't imagine. She's lucky to have someone like you in her life to support her through this time.

There's a book that's really popular, "How to Survive the Loss of a Love." It deals with any loss of a love, through death, breakup, abandonment, etc. It helped my brother through a serious breakup, and it got really good reviews on amazon.com.
